Baby shower
Baby showers- if you've experienced one you know how much of a blessing they are! If you haven't, then hopefully you will! Baby showers are a time for family and friends to gather around you and sort of "put their arms around you" in support. Typically this support is in matters of material things, but it can also take the form of physical, spiritual and emotional support. Having written letters of advice and/or support for the new mother-to-be is just as supportive as receiving toys and goodies for the newborn baby! Baby showers are a very important thing to have, especially for those who are going to be parents for the first time. If you've never had a baby before and you're invited to a baby shower, just put yourself in their position- having a new baby for the first time, not knowing what to expect, and being short on both money, time and energy! A baby shower is just the perfect event to brighten up their situation. |
