Baby shower ideas
When hosting a baby shower, here are some shower ideas that are bound to win over all the guests!
1. Have honey or sticky buns put into decorative bags and hand them out to guests. Include a card or note that mentions something like this: "We're here to celebrate the fact that ____ has a bun-in-the-oven!" 2. Come up with creative games for the guests. Have these games relate to the incoming baby and have them be interactive for all your guests! 3. Plan an event for the guys! Men out there know that it's sometimes difficult to come with their wives or girlfriends to a baby shower, so how about catering to their needs? Invite the women to celebrate and the men to go out and watch a movie or play pool. You might get more guys willing to "participate" in the baby showers this way! 4. Lay a bunch of notecards and pens out for guests. Before the "person of honor" arrives, have all guests fill out a piece of advice, loving words or friendly comments on the cards. Then hid the cards and give them to the mother-to-be at a special time during the baby shower. 5. Have tons of food and snacks! Again, this might make the baby shower more inviting for the guys! 6. Be sure to send out baby shower announcements. 7. Arrange to have childcare. How many people say they can't make a shower because they have the kids to watch? Think about it: who brings the best gifts? The people who are already mothers and fathers know the best items/products etc to purchase! Make sure to cater to them as well. Using these ingredients, you are bound to throw a wonderful shower! |
