How to clean a dirty microwave
If your microwave is dirty inside, here's how to clean it easily and efficiently: First, get a microwave-safe bowl and fill it with tap water. Second, put the bowl of water in the microwave and heat it for a few minutes until it is close to boiling. This will create steam in the microwave. Finally, wipe the inside of the microwave clean! This tip is especially useful to get rid of crusted/old/established food on the inside of your microwave. This tip will work for any type of microwave- old, new, rotating, etc. What happens is the steam loosens the stains and food and it makes it very easy to wipe it off! I would recommend using a dry paper towel, but you can use an old rag or sponge if you'd like! Total clean time: 10 - 15 minutes depending on the dirtiness of the microwave before cleaning. |
