How to make a few extra dollars in your spare time In light of today's increase in foreclosures and the dropping value of the U.S. dollar, allow me to suggest ways in which you can begin earning money on the side during your spare time: 1. Offer to mow a lawn In fact, this is becoming more and more popular! Offer to mow your neighbor's lawn and watch the demand for your services grow! 2. Agree to babysit for someone Everyone who has a kid will need someone to watch that kid sooner or later. Offer your services! 3. Wash cars Ask friends and family if they know of anyone who needs a good car-washing. This could spread easily. 4. Offer your services at a rate-per-hour If you're good at any of the below listed items, offer your services! 4a. Plummer 4b. Carpenter 4c. General handyman 4d. Landscaper 4e. Grocery getter (great for the elderly) 4f. Dog walker 4g. etc. 5. Pick up a paper route If early hours in the day are you thing, take up a paper route and agree to deliver papers to people. This can be a great supplemental income!
