The value of a Bachelor's Degree (Part 2)
Here are some other things that occur when you obtain a Bachelor's degree: You have an increase in your value
Why? Because it shows that you have the dedication to study for four years! Employers, friends and family will all recognize this fact and (hopefully) let you know that they appreciate that in you. For you to dedicate yourself for four years to this cause is no easy feat! Your social circles increase
In life it's all about who you know. Whether or not you've realized that truth, it is simply a matter of fact. Yes a degree looks good, but getting connected with new people at college can be invaluable. You never know, maybe a professor leaves the college one day and hires you as his newest marketer. Maybe one of your buddies makes it big and asks you to come along side her to help her with her new company. Or maybe someone you know has a friend who is able to connect you with a new job opportunity. All of these things happened because your social circle of influence increased by going to college. It leads to higher learning
Should you choose to further your education, you CAN thanks to your Bachelor's degree! A Master's degree can lead to huge breakthroughs in your career and your personal life. BUT, a Bachelor's degree is required first! Hopefully some of these things have led you to become more motivated to get your four year degree. For what it's worth, I would highly recommend it! |
