Wedding Photographer
Thinking about hiring a wedding photographer? Here are some things to consider: 1. Cost 2. Experience of the photographer 3. Whether or not you and your spouse-to-be agree on the choice 4. References 5. Manpower 6. Size of wedding 7. Your expectations COST Cost is one of the most important factors when choosing a wedding photographer. You definitely want to choose a photographer that you can afford, but you might find that there are several different choices that you can afford. This is when the other considerations come into play. Experience Don't always assume that since your friends enjoyed a photographer for their wedding that he or she will be good for your wedding! Likewise, don't just pick a wedding photographer because he or she is a friend or a friend of a friend. Look into their background. Have they ever done wedding photography before? Have they ever done photography before? Do they own their own equipment? These are all very important considerations to keep in mind when choosing a wedding photographer. Whether you agree on choice This one is a bit more obvious, but is worth noting. Be sure you and your spouse-to-be agree on the choice for a wedding photographer. If not, then maybe this is a good time to practice the art of "give-and-take." References This is similar to experience, but they are not the same. Be sure to look into and follow up on any references your potential photographer might have. If they do not have any references, you should seriously consider choosing another person or company for the job. This could either mean that they've never done wedding photography before or they've only had bad wedding photography experiences and don't want to share references with you! Either of these cases are bad news, so consider a different choice for your photographer! Manpower One very important factor to consider when choosing a wedding photographer is whether or not they will have any help during the wedding. If you haven't already figured it out, weddings can be a very hectic event! There are typically over a dozen things going on all at the same time and things can get out of hand quickly if there are not enough adequate hands assisting. A photographer needs to be in the right place at the right time to snap that perfect shot! Since a photographer can't be in the same place at the same time, it's always great if they have extra help.
