7. Your expectations Size of wedding
The size of the wedding will impact a number of things, so keep this in mind when choosing a wedding photographer. First of all, it will impact cost- if you have a large and long wedding, the photographer will have to snap more photos of guests and stay their longer to capture all the memories. If the photographer is good, they will realize this and charge you more for their services.
Similarly, if the wedding is small, the cost will be cheaper. Not only will the photographer not have to stay there as long, but he or she might not have to hire a second or third person to assist in taking the photos. This will not be the case for more grandiose weddings. Your expectations
Your wedding photographer must meet all of your expectations in order to be chosen, right? I mean, why would you choose someone you don't like? It would do you well to sit down with your fiancee and write down all of your expectations for your wedding photographer on a sheet of paper. Not only will this foster increased communication between you and your partner (which is good for the marriage, right?) it will also allow you to each agree on the things you'd like to have in a wedding photographer. Maybe she really wants a female photographer for those shots of her getting into her wedding dress. Or maybe your parents will only help pay if you go with companies x, y or z.
