Why you should visit Hawaii
If you have never been to Hawaii, I would highly recommend it. My wife and I honeymooned there years ago, and we instantly fell in love with it! Since I like doing things in outline form, here are a few pros and cons for visiting Hawaii: CONS Prices are higher
Gas and food prices, specifically are pretty high. Touristy things are also priced a little high. Flight time
Flying from California is about 5-6 hours. Traveling from anywhere else internationally and you're looking at a long flight. Time difference
Chances are, the time zone is different from that of where you live. Give yourself a few days to adjust to that. PROS Weather
The weather is practically perfect! It's usually in the 70s or 80s (Fahrenheit) or sunny or rainy. But don't worry, the rain doesn't last that long! And hey, it's not like it's a cold rain, right? Sites
Wow, the sites there in Hawaii are beautiful! There are literally thousands of unique things you can do in Hawaii. There are beaches, mountains, waters, volcanoes, waterfalls and more that are waiting to be explored! You can explore them in a helicopter, boat, submarine, airplane, etc. Things to do
There are a ton of things to do in Hawaii. I would say there's something for everyone to do there. You can surf, sight-see, photograph, snorkel, and so on. People
The people there are VERY laid back and are a pleasure to be around. Even in the less-than-touristy places the locals are very welcoming and friendly! If you have the opportunity to visit Hawaii, I would highly recommend it. The place is gorgeous, the people are friendly and welcoming and it is an overall great place to visit. Whether you're thinking of honeymooning, visiting, vacationing or moving to Hawaii, I would highly recommend it. You won't regret it.
